If you are interested in counselling then you can contact me either by phone or email. My mobile number has an answering service on it, so please leave your name, contact details and a convenient time for me to call you back. I will usually be able to do this within 24hours or if at the weekend the next working day.
It is helpful to speak before setting up an appointment just to make sure that I am able to offer suitable help for your concerns.
At an initial meeting we will explore in more depth your concerns and current situation. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have and for us to consider if working together will be helpful for you. If for any reason this does not feel appropriate I will consider with you a referral to another therapist or suitable service.
If we do decide to meet again we will set up weekly sessions for the same time and place each week.
I can work with an open ended agreement or more short term emphasis with regular reviews. The minimum number of sessions I recommend is six.
These sessions last for 50 minutes and provide a confidential space in which to explore any difficulties or dilemmas that you are facing.
£50 for individuals
£65 for couples or family work
As time and space are allocated for each session I do charge for missed sessions.
If for any reason during our work together you are unhappy with the therapy, I will attempt in the first instance to understand and rectify the situation. If this is not satisfactory then BACP, my professional body, has a complaints procedure that we will follow.
